Zibi’s realistic…as always

Zbigniew “Zibi” Boniek, one of the most sucessful Poland football player predicts Poland chances in World Cup 2006.
Zibi stressed the fact that masses of Polish fans are expected on German stadiums, however what’s most important is squad’s technical ability.


The team consists of rather hard-working players than super stars but there are some players that are already recognised on European pitches like Dudek, Boruc, Żurawski. Remaining of the squad is not so known and not rather inexperienced.
Zibi has not mentioned such players as: Ebi Smolarek or Tomasz Frankowski that constantly gather positive opinions in their leagues.
Boniek claims that it will be difficult for Poland to go beyond the last 16, what a lack of optimism and enthusiasm! Don’t we intend to become the greatest surprise of the tournament and get the Cup?
