What A Goal By Kuba Blaszczykowski!

Have a look at what we can expect from Kuba this season.

The goal was scored in a friendly against Feyenoord. I watched the whole game and I must say that Kuba looked better than I expected, especially considering that he’s just recovered from an injury. Very fast, agile, effective dribbling and a courage to take a risk. Kuba should be one of Dortmund’s leaders this season; yesterday he looked like one. Michal Janota played for a last couple of minutes for Feyenoord. Not enough time, of course, to comment on his abilities (he’s quite short and moves nice). The only thing that I can say about him is that he really likes his hair gel. A lot.

I just hope he impresses enough for some Premier league or at least a better Bundesliga team will get him out of the shit hole of a club he is in right now. I think his below average season last year had to do with Dortmunds overall bad season. He always seemed to be iffy in deciding to take a shot on goal and it only gave him 1 goal last season, I don’t blame him he wasn’t a prolific goal scorer at Wisla either. Its also hard to get assists if no one else on your team can score goals, but now with Frei back I do believe that Kuba can actually start assisting.

I think Kuba is at the moment the only Polish offensive player good enough to play regularly in Premiership or Primera Division. He’s got speed, technical skills and confidence. Let’s believe that Dortmund performs well in Bundesliga and Europe this season and Kuba stays injury free. What other Polish players do you think are capable of reaching top leagues?

For some reason I use to think Wasilewski was good enough to play for like Wigan or Fulham some lower Premier league team, don’t ask me why but I don’t think so anymore. Boruc is one of course, along with Roger. I really believe Rybus and Borysiuk will play for a top league team, Borysiuk would probably be a better player though. Malecki I thought was good but I haven’t heard anything about him for a while. Piszczek might but doesn’t really seem like it to me. Majewski seems like more of a Bundesliga player than anything else. Pazdan I still haven’t seen playing so don’t really know, Danch seems to have already peaked so not much hope from him. Rzezniczak could go far if he works on him offensive play or if Urban tries him as a center defense. Pawlowski and Lewandowski could really go far but could get allot of competition for the national team if Janota and Jutkiewicz. Other then that I don’t really see any of the older players being able to play in the top leagues, maybe Gargula.
