Granted, Ebis’ size is an issue in a physical league such as the EPL, but i’m not sure whether he should be written off just yet. The Arsenal game was a one off, he had just landed in England the day prior, had trained with Bolton ONE day and was thrown head first against one of the giants (mind you they look like shit sometimes) of English football. So lets give him a couple weeks to settle. There are plenty of smaller players that do just fine in English football. He will have to work on his skill though. And as for Saganowski, god bless him, but he is shit. I really hope Leo would stop wasting a starting eleven spot on him. SHOULD have stopped wasting it matches ago and used Slovenia and SM to break in ANYONE ELSE. And as for Kuszczak, well, personally, i think that goal was one of those things where the player marking was more at fault then his positioning or anything else. I mean, what was he supposed to do? Unless he has animal instincts and psychic abilities he couldn’t possibly have seen that thing whiz past him. Anyway, he’s still sort of an asshole, but he’s our asshole.

I don’t think prime division is good fit for him at all. He was never physical player and he will get a lot of abuse from defenders that are much stronger then him. Only way to beat power is finesse combined with speed and Ebi never had either.
I don’t know if it is just me but I never saw this potential in him. To me he was always very average player who was playing OK vs. lesser opponents and with exception of Portugal match he never show international class. I’m not trying to bash him but I think we should forget about him in NT and move to younger players like Lewandowski (better speed, power and size). If he shows sign of improvement then maybe he can be bench warmer for Poland. But I don’t think he got skills to start.

I agree, it was a hard game to impress for a newcomer. At the same time, other offensive players like Davies, Nolan or Riga did much better. Ebi was just one of the weakest links in a poor team. It will be hard for Golanski to play regularly for Steaua from now on, unless he switches to left back position. Gargula is closely watched by Leo and assistansts, he may get a call up next week.

Saganowski is out of form currently, this video only illustrates it. I hope Leo is aware of it and will leave Sagan out of the starting lineup. Unfortunately, Pawel Brozek can’t regain his form after the injury against Cracovia. He did quite well against Spurs, but lacked proper decision making vs Jagiellonia, he passed when he had to shoot and dribbled when he had to pass. Robert Lewandowski missed two great chances this weekend, ones he should score with his eyes shut. Alek, I like to include Wichniarek in this weekly report because he’s always likely to spark some controversy, discussion or just score goals.

Saganowski is shit, he was always shit except for when he playef for Legia and his loan period at southampton.
