Tomasz: I have come to accept some of Leo’s choices (understand would be too strong a word) and realize that he’s got his own vision, etc. (though I still think Jelen would be useful!)

Maybe leaving Wichniarek or Radomski off the squad isn’t the end of the world, but when it looks like Saganowski and Pazdan are the direct replacements for the former two, I get even more baffled.

I would also go for Wichniarek to be honest. But I think that Leo expects the whole team, especially midfield, to score and strikers’ goalscoring records are not the most important for him. He just looks for other qualities in strikers, maybe the defensive play, tactical awareness or the ability to cooperate with the team. Hence his choices.

Dropped players start to play better so that the press has something to write about;). I’m not surprised that Radomski and Wichniar don’t want to be on the reserve list, they are too old and experienced to be the 27th or 28th member of the squad. Those positions should be occupied by young players. However, if Leo stays our manager after the Euros then their chances of a call up will be quite small. It’s a shame that the polishsoccer site is down, there were always a lot of interesting discussions and opinions.

There are mixed opinions about Dudka’s injury. Skorza said that Dudka is fighting against time to be fit for the Euros. On the other hand, Mariusz Urban, Wisla’s physio, said that he’ll surely be ready. I don’t know, however, whether he’ll participate in the friendlies. Looks like a chance for Murawski and Pazdan.

yah i didn’t want to complain all the times it went down before, because its free and all that shit….but man if it goes down during the tournament ill be disappointed.

Mariusz owns the site? its seems like the address doesn’t exist anymore, i got to some megaclick bullshit.

things are heating up, its getting closer to the tournament. instead of making your own site maybe talking to Mariusz and taking over, or some partnership? I dunno, its up to you dog. Anyways, I’ve been trying to get Tomasz here to join the site before, like a month ago. His blogs are very informative and I think it would be a good idea to link his blog to the main site in the future. kill 2 birds with one stone.

how convenient that when players get dropped from the nt they start scoring, and when they are candidates they dry up.

yah with Matusiak’s state there was probably a couple other directions Beenhakker could have went. But we all knew Wichniarek was not going to be called up again.

What do you guys think of Radomski and now apparently Wichniarek wanting out of being from the reserve squad. Personally I don’t think its so bad, they are both quite a bit older.

I am still really disappointed Leo did not take Wichniarek. As a Legionista, I love Sagan’s hustle and the fact that he gives 110% all the time, but the reality is that (a) he had a subpar season for Soton and (b) he’s never cut it on the NT level, thus nullifying that excuse on the Wichniarek/Brozek front.

I trust Leo, but I would’ve kept Wichniarek around for the final 23.
