I don't understand how they can justify and even glorify that sort of behavior. It's just complete disrespect towards their club and what it's trying to achieve. They're harming their team, not only through fines, but also because their behavior discourages people from bringing their families to games, and makes the club less attractive to sponsors/investors. Just complete stupidity of the highest order. They should be banned permanently. Also, instead of fining the clubs, fine the individual fans themselves, that should a better deterrent since they obviously don't care about their team. Congratulations to Shakhtar Donetsk. I’m happy that Lech has secured a spot in the Europa league. My only beef is with the fans at the stadium. I am disgusted and embarrassed to have witnessed that kind of behaviour in my country. Police had to intervene the fights in the stands. Why even go to the game if you are not there to enjoy the football. The amount of people with flares was ridiculous. At one point nothing on the field was visible. Small groups of people are making Polish football culture look like a joke. Why doesn’t the PZPN take action and rid the game of this nonsense. The example yesterday is why Polish football is years away from respectability. The problems are clearly evident and nothing is being done about them. It is these actions that embarrass the supporters that just want to enjoy the game, safely. If you don’t want to enjoy the game, stay home. I hate the argument that they are fanatical fans that are willing to do anything for their team. That is complete crap. If they cared about the sport or their team they would realise that what they are doing is counterproductive. If you’re looking for a fight you are attending the wrong event. Is alcohol the problem? Easy solution, ban the sale of alcohol. Those fans that cause problems should be barred from the stadium for life. What is worse is that this kind of behaviour is glorified by shows like “Football factories.” This is complete bullshit. My cousins, aged from 8-17, are big football fans but don’t go to the games because of negative past experiences. My uncle does not want to risk getting in the crossfire of a bunch of idiots. That is just not right. The PZPN was fined for the nonsense that occurred during the Northern Ireland game. When will they learn that those actions only hurt the sport and image of our country.
