Poland-Macedonia 1:1. Goals.
Wow, the game wasn’t even good enough for anyone to compile highlights (or rather lowlights) from it. So here you are, the two goals scored yesterday:
Leo said after the game that it was a good test for us and that it managed to dispel his doubts concerning some of the players. If he wasn’t such a diplomat he’d call it a negative selection. From now on we start working on tactics and our game plan (that is players will kick the ball more) and forget about physical training. As for Matusiak, Leo said that he’d made some progress during the camp but he didn’t say if it was enough for Radomatu to go to the Euros. Finally, today’s game against Albania won’t be treated as a training session so we are to expect more from our boys. To end on a positive note, Kuba Blaszczykowski started individual training today, which will hopefully make him fit for the Germany game.

That’s a very tough penalty against Macedonia, I have to say. There is no movement of the arm to the ball. However, the penalty kick was decent.

If the ball had bounced off a Polish player and then hit his hand you’d have a good argument, but since it went off his own head and the hand ball completely changed the flight of the ball…this would be called about 90% of time. Remember that this “hand to ball – ball to hand” thing is only a guidance, not the law.

I think that the penalty was fair, the ball clearly hit the hand. It’s just clumsiness from the Macedonian defender.

It was a clear penalty.
I now it was a frendly game and your best players was’t in the squad, but very bad performance by Polanad. We were much better team.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that Macedonia was far better but you certainly were more dangerous.

Y’know Germany just tied with Belarus 2-2. According to them it wasn’t exactly spectacular and Belarus looked better. Hopefully they get worse and worse before they face us -if you know what I’m saying.
