Leo has a good eye for young talent and he did everything right to trust him. If he sees great things coming from Kokoszka, Pazdan or Grosicki in the future than I believe him. One could already observe why Leo chose those particular players; there were showing signs of potential in the last friendlies. We also can't forget that it was Leo who really introduced players like Blaszczykowski, Wasilewski, Lobodzinski, Matusiak, Golanski or even Dudka to the national team. Who was Janas' discovery? Mila? Seweryn Gancarczyk? Rasiak? Gorawski? Give me a brake, he was only right to take Jelen to the World Cup.

That's right about Sikora. He looks impressive only in Polish league matches and I don't see any point in taking him to the national team either.
I guess our journalists didn't learn Leo's lesson yet. As you mentioned, plenty of players used to be called up thanks to the press's pressure on the coach; the result of it you mentioned as well. Beenhakker on many occasions pointed out that in Poland young players are judged by whole games (and their shortcomings influences the opinion the most), not by the potential they show in several moments of the game. In other words, what they c a n n o t do becomes more important than what they actually c a n. The dark side and the bright side of the moon.
That could be why (among other problems) our talented players have really hard time realising their potential: too much is expected from them while the support for them is insufficient.
I believe in our youths to become leaders of the biało-czerwoni in Leo's hands. It's a pity he doesn't manage any of our league teams, so that he'd have 25 players everyday to work on. Because the poeple from the Polish football world seem not so willing to follow his exapmle in any way.
