New Poland Kits By Nike.

What more is there to say, video after a click.

Nowe stroje reprezentacji. Uwaga! Bardzo obcisłe!

New kits are a result of Nike’s deal with the Polish FA, the most luxurious in our history (Euro 2012 being the main reason behind that). The money will, of course, be devoted to youth training. Yeah right, if you took the last sentence seriously it means you don’t know much about the Polish FA. Kits look very nice, I like the fact that they are tight fitting. What’s most important, Nike didn’t get rid of our national crest. We should look spectacular against Northern Ireland.

You can look at some pics here.

Shit, the video doesn’t work as far as I can see. Just click on “nowe stroje reprezentacji” and you should be redirected to it.

Could be more original but overall, I like the new design, well done.

Wow, the Polish media is still going on about Jelen not knowing French… They’ve actually written a lot more about it than the French media who have never dedicated a single article to the issue (just mentioned it in a paragraph or two in an article that was all about emphasizing Jelen’s importance to Auxerre). So why are the Polish media making such a big deal about it? Why should Jelen have to learn French? Sure, for most people it helps to know the language but he’s clearly proven he doesn’t need to learn it, he’s an important asset to Auxerre regardless. I say, more power to him then!

Piłkarz AJ Auxerre grał na lewym skrzydle, ale także w roli wysuniętego napastnika. This makes me think about what Beenhakker is planning.

w “Gazecie Wyborczej”. Lewandowski chciałby zagrać z Jeleniem. Czy Leo zdecydowałby się wystawić obu piłkarzy w pierwszym składzie? This is from wp.pl. If this is true it would be nice to have two strikers. I think its because Leo is planning that N. Ireland is gonna be sitting back defensively the whole match.

I really hope we play two up front because its true that the best defence is a good offence, If we start with Jelen and Lewendowski that would scare the shit out of N.Ireland, nobody likes to play against tall quick strikers, especially in the form that these guys are in. If Kuba is not match fit then Jelen should start on the right for sure but i would’nt sacrifice the two up front, I would like to see Janczyk get a start, he’s still pacey and is very powerfull and his type of play would definately upset the Irish. If we do start with just the lone striker however then I think that Jelen should be the man to start, He’s the quickest, he’s playing out of his skin and is in the best form of any of our strikers.
The new kit is quality it looks amazing the eagle is back and the whole kit looks perfect, slim fit, simple and not over designed. Thankyou Nike. COME ON POLAND

This is why I like Nike: they give both a classy and a modern look. They don’t need to plaster their logo all over the shoulders to clutter up the design. Overall the design looks great. Go Poland!

This is probably what we’ll see:

———–Jelen—————-
Krzynowek — Roger — R. Lewandowski (Blaszczykowski)
——–Dudka—–M.Lewandowski
Wawrzyniak – Zewlakow – Bosacki – Wasilewski
———–Boruc———

It sounds like Jelen will start in attack. Blaszczykowski will start on the bench as he’s still feeling some pain. R Lewandowski will probably take his place as he has some experience playing on the RW for Lech in the UEFA Cup. Blaszczu will come on in the second half if the team is struggling.

Interesting article about the Israeli contingent at Lokeren and their relationship with Janczyk.

Witold: You really can not do much when you base your uniforms on only two colors. Other countries that have three colors in their flag, like Germany, the U.S, or Croatia for example, can afford to be creative and vary their uniform types. We can’t. All we have is red and white, our two traditional colors from our history. What else can you add? Perhaps more stripes… but it wouldn’t really look right. The best you could do is to keep a clean and very classy design. I wouldn’t mind a tertiary color, however. If we added black into the uniform we would be able to have a lot more variation. I would like to see gold incorporated, perhaps the justification to include gold could be from the color of the crown on our Eagle or something. That would be nice.

The Beijing Olympics were so cool when countries wore other than their flag colors. Germany volleyball team in green. US in black, pink, or any color. It flew so well in the face of the straight line oppressive, pink dolphin extincting, Chinese. But in regard to the Nike kits: I think biało i czerwoni is good enough, added colors may also be fine, but white and red are very fine. I’m not so fond of the split top and bottom colors though – no creative or classiness there. I rather see cały biało (did I get that right?) and red trim with the home jersey – white shorts with white top is much more classy and powerful. The winged-football logo would look cool on the left side of the shoulder sleeve. Silly maybe, but I’m glad the socks didn’t change with red strip on white. Anyway I really cannot be disappointed with the new kits.

GO POLAND!!!

I think an all-white uniform would look really good with just a little red or perhaps some light red pin-stripes.

Go Poland, let’s win both these games and get back on the road to qualifying for 2010!!

We should just stick to our colors. What other colors can we use? I don’t like gold, not for us. It doesn’t go well with red and white. Black, I don’t know. A random third color doesn’t make sense to me. Its like Italy wearing blue. If blue is such a big color to their heritage, why isn’t it on the flag? And I rather the team was noticed for its skill and play on the field than the colors of the jersey.

Pretty strange the way the Israeli players and press are acting in this one.

It says that Janczyk isnt physical from what i saw of him in the U20 world cup thats far from the truth. It seems as if the Jewish player thinks he is better then Janczyk, but he only scored 7 goals this season which is bad for a striker in Belgium. Belgium is not a better league then ekstraklasa i mean Wasliewski scored 4 goals this season, when was the last time he scored for Poland. Janczyk scored in half the games he played in and at least half of them he was a sub.

Dmac: you had a very good idea: All white uniform with some red strips

Paradowski: I agree that the winged-football logo would look very cool on the left side of the shoulder sleeve

Any other idea will be a lot better than this “new old” uniform.
