Czech Republic and Slovakia - just to cross the boarder on the south, Slovenia and San Marino a little further on the south, Northern Ireland opposite direction, but with huge polish minority, White and Red are sure to have massive support in their all away games. That’s the biggest advantage of World Cup Qualification draw. However, recent FIFA ranking indicates it as the second strongest group. Czechs are already well established world class players scattered across top clubs. Northern Ireland proved itself in last campaign as the team capable of bringing demolition to any favorites, especially on home soil. Both Slovenia and Slovakia are looking for its chance to progress and will be dangerous in first opening games. And San Marino…Once we played our home qualifier against them and managed to get points only through our version of “hand of the God”. Generally, mood amongst supporters is good, big fishes were taken to other pools, no Italy, Spain or England. To be honest we see ourself at least as runner up with crucial encounters with Czech Republic as the group 3 deciders.
