National team trains in Germany
Paweł Janas has announced his plans prior to the World Cup.
US friendly is the latest chance fo national coach to check all players from foreign leagues before May 15th when he must to annouce ultimate national squad.
In the meanwhile there are only two friendlies to play in non-official FIFA friendly dates: versus Saudi Arabia at the end of March in Rijad and versus Lithauania on 2nd May somehere in Poland (exact place not known yet).
Thus, Janas decided to call as many as 30 players.
“I’m glad after so long break to meet my players and to speak with them directly. Recently we met very sporidacally. “
Main one-week long training camp will begin on May 22nd but till now final decision was not taken where national players will train. Probably in Ukraine or Hungary. Maciej Skorża, assistant trainer stated “This choice is of paramount importance becuase it’s key training period for us. All we need then mostly is quiet.”
On 30th May national squad will play the latest friendly versus Columbia in Chorzów. Initially the game was scheduled to play in Szczecin but after building tragedy in Katowice, where 65 people died, it was decided to play the match in Chorzów and to donate victims’ families.
Afterwards, the team flies to Germany and the latest friendly one week prior the second game of the tournament on 9th June (Poland vs. Ecuador) will be played vs. Croatia.
Friendlies to come:
March 1 – friendly vs. USA in Kaiserslautern
March 29 – friendly vs. Saudi Arabia in Rijadzie
May 2 – friendly vs. Lithuania (somewhere in Poland)
Between 22-29 May – training camp (probably abroad)
May 30 – friendly vs. Columbia in Chorzów
June 2 – friendly vs. Croatia (somewhere in Germany)
