Jerzy Dudek Enjoys His Life In Madrid (Javier Saviola Doesn’t).

September 21st, 2008 | By: tomasz | 9 Comments »

I know it’s a couple of days old, but better late than never. Have a look at Jerzy Dudek making fun of Javier Saviola who wasn’t aware that there were no substitutions left for Real and prepared to enter the field. Can’t the guy count to three?

As for Dudek, it was his best performance for Madrid and probably the only one that Real fans will remember. Have a nice vacation Jerzy.

what an ass ‘dżerzi’ is:) but hey, when you don’t mind warming up the bench all the time, you can make fun of those who actually do, can’t you.
luckily saviola has finally made it and had a few minutes of play last night. good luck to el conecho.

ps. the film is really funny though.

Dudi was always a part of ‘The Joke Team’ for Poland, along with Świr Świerczewski, Gianni Hajto or Tomek Ajwen. Now his joking skills entered the international scene.

There is nothing wrong with a bit of fun on the bench. I don’t think this got anything to do with Dudek playing time. This time it looks to me you are stretching this little story into something that it is not. As a ex athlete I can tell you that little things like that work always to team benefit because there is nothing better then fun and relaxed atmosphere in the clubhouse.

He was not about to play anyway and guys had good enjoyment cause of him. I bet he will be laughing about it next day unless he is one of those dudes who is always tense.

i hope javier actually did laugh about it, especially that the had a few minutes of the game against racing. but i respect it if saviola’s ambition makes him take serious his sitting on the bench all the time. that’s what i’d expect from a professional footballer. sure, dudek’s situation is different. he’s already accomplished as a footballer, had his best moments. now he’s enjoying his retirement, and i respect that too.
he could have had some play had he chosen a bit weaker club but decided otherwise.

How about Du The Dudek? Does anyone know the words? Saw him in action against A.C. Milan and if Artur could Du the Boruc then maybe Poland would not lose or tie with inferoir teams. Maybe Lukasz could Du the Fabianski?
