Jakub Blaszczykowski Out Of Euros.

I feel like I’ve just received a heavy punch in the face. Jakub Blaszczykowki suffered an injury that eliminates him from Euro 2008. His place will probably be filled with Lukasz Piszczek from Hertha Berlin.

I’m speechless. Kuba is the most talented young player from Poland. He’s the best dribbler in the squad. I was counting on him to be an X-factor in our squad. He was to drive our attack forward. And now we hear that he won’t be there with us. Shock. He got injured two weeks ago, but everything was going fine and he was to be ready for the Germany game. Today, the injury struck for the second time. I don’t know if there’s anyone to blame, probably it’s just bad luck. Shit.

Well let’s look on the bright side, France just lost Henry and Ribery (maybe not indefinitely), losing Kuba is a drop in the bucket compared to France’s loss.

What a mess!
However, are you sure that Lobodzinski will be his substitute for all the tournament? Thanks in advance.

This is a huge boost to the WCb liveblogging team who would have been frantically copy/pasting that name over and over again.

Well, the good news is we are a tactical team, not a team of individual standouts. Jakub byl dobry, ale bedziemy OK bez niego.

Lobo will cover for him, we have to believe in that. There’s also another possibility: Ebi on the right wing. In this case Roger starts as well. The info ruined my evening yesterday.

Very bad news :( but even worse news would be if Piszczek was his replacement.
