You're right, I can't remember Wigan producing any young players. Cywka and Fojut made the bench this weekend, surprisingly Kupisz was left out of the squad. That doesn't mean all of their youth are crap, simply clubs prefer experience above all. Not sure what they're doing this season but last season Bolton preferred to bring in players from second-division French and German clubs instead of giving their youth a chance, they're that risk-averse... Still, I seriously doubt he'll get a real chance at Wigan. They're always battling relegation and so are extremely reluctant to put youth on. I doubt they'll even give him a few minutes at the end of matches.
