5th scenario I start playing like a Lukasz Podoslki did, and Poland picks me as their left-wing back defender. Then I start playing for Poland, and taking natural supplements. The team realizes that they are deficient in specific supplements. The team plays better. Fish oil makes Artur Boruc think before he drinks that bottle and trashes the hotel.

Janota played for Feyenoord again but only for the last 5 min of the game. Don't think he really did much

Even after that Portugal game, we rarely played well... I would say in most games we had majors problems keeping possession, playing passing football. I think it was mostly luck and the inconsistency of the other teams that saw us qualify...

We desperately need new blood, players who won't carelessly lose possession, who know how to take on defenders. And we do have some young players in the pipeline who reportedly have that ability (most notably Janota) but none of them have broken through...

I wish some of those who are not getting playing time would just ask for a loan, it's possible to make a name for oneself that way too. Even Arsene Wenger likes to use loans as part of the development process of his youth, it doesn't mean they're crap and he's trying to get rid of them, in fact he has loaned out some of his most talented young players.

Does anyone know why Poland had such a bad start to the euro 2008 qualifying but then managed to play better starting from the home game against Portugal? Maybe this is needed again?

i think the 2nd and 3rd situations are equally as likely... the 3rd of course being worse off for morale. i think the 4th scenario has a much better chance of happening than the 1st scenario, but i can only dream the 1st situation comes through because it would be a dream start in the group stages!

i think the most important part of the article was the sentence or two towards the very bottom of your article. and that is BORUC, this meeting i think could make or break Leo's stay with us. i think Leo knows this as well, if he could get Boruc behind him then i believe he can get the locker room behind him. i think Boruc and Leo will have a long talk, this is great because it'll give Boruc a few matches to have this better mindset and get in better form. it'll also have a more positive mindset going into the next few qualifiers for the entire squad. i applaud Leo's visit, and can't see anything going wrong with this meeting. its nice and private, i find it almost unfathomable that this could be a bad thing
