I would say in most games we had majors problems keeping possession, playing passing football. I think it was mostly luck and the inconsistency of the other teams that saw us qualify... We desperately need new blood, players who won't carelessly lose possession, who know how to take on defenders. And we do have some young players in the pipeline who reportedly have that ability (most notably Janota) but none of them have broken through... I wish some of those who are not getting playing time would just ask for a loan, it's possible to make a name for oneself that way too. Even Arsene Wenger likes to use loans as part of the development process of his youth, it doesn't mean they're crap and he's trying to get rid of them, in fact he has loaned out some of his most talented young players.
